Two Sizes. One Starry Dial. No Subtlety.
Ball Watch Company is leaning into its American heritage with a limited edition that’s more about presence than understatement.
The Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT II Patriot marks Ball's first use of an aventurine dial, giving it a shimmering, starry-night effect. Offered in two sizes—42mm and 40mm—this stainless steel tool watch is limited to 250 pieces each. It's a nod to 250 years of American history, but let's be honest, it's the dial that steals the show.
The case features a bidirectional rotating curved sapphire bezel with micro gas tubes for night visibility. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, and it includes a patented crown protection system. Inside, you'll find the Swiss automatic Ball caliber RR1201-C, COSC-certified with a 42-hour power reserve. Shock resistant to 7,500G's and anti-magnetic to 4,800A/m. It’s built to take a hit.
The dial options are blue aventurine glass or silver meteorite, both equipped with 44 micro gas tubes for luminous three-timezone indication. The watch comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a patented folding buckle and extension system, but rubber and nylon straps are also available.
Priced between $3,749 for the aventurine version and $4,699 for the meteorite option, these will be available starting September 2026. You’ll know if it’s for you.
