24 Hours. Two Hands. One Unusual Approach.
Beda'a introduces something different with the Angles Guichets, featuring a 24-hour aperture display that tracks day and night via Sun and Moon indicators.
The watch has an eight-faceted case with integrated lugs, available in stainless steel or steel gold PVD. It measures 34mm by 37mm and is just 6.3mm thick. Water resistance is minimal at 30 meters, but that's not the focus here.
Inside, you'll find a modified Swiss manual-wind Peseux caliber 7001. Beda'a worked with a Swiss partner to adjust the gear train, slowing it down to complete a full rotation every 24 hours instead of the usual 12. The power reserve remains at 42 hours.
The dial is lacquered for a clean look, with polished hands marking the passage of time through Sun and Moon symbols for day and night. It's straightforward but effective.
The watch comes on a calfskin leather strap with a matching metal pin buckle. Priced at 1,800 Swiss Francs, it's an accessible entry into something a bit different.
This isn't your typical complication. You’ll know if it’s for you.
