One Dial. Two Movements. No Gimmicks.
Dennison's latest Dual Time "Shades" keeps things straightforward, focusing on design over distraction.
The ALD Dual Time "Shades" introduces a dial concept by Emmanuel Gueit that plays with light and perception. It's all about subtlety. The dial's brushed surface shifts in appearance as it catches the light, revealing depth within a single color. It's an exercise in restraint, not flash.
The case is stainless steel, measuring 37mm by 35.6mm and just 6.1mm thick. Water resistance is minimal at 30 meters, but that's not the focus here. Inside are two Swiss quartz Ronda Slimtech 1032 movements, each with a 78-month battery life. It tells time simply: hours and minutes.
Dial options include blue, brown, or green with contrasting brushed finishes and dual displays with indices. Steel hands keep it clean. Choose between a pebble-link stainless steel bracelet or a taupe leather strap with a steel pin buckle.
Pricing ranges from $740 to $820. It’s not trying to be more than it is—and that works.
