Mido Commander Datoday

No Drama. Just a Solid 80-Hour Power Reserve.

Mido's latest isn't about breaking new ground. It's about refining the essentials.

The watch comes in a 40mm stainless steel case with rose-gold PVD accents. Polished and satin-brushed surfaces keep it straightforward. The "glassbox" sapphire crystal and display back add some modern flair, while the 50-meter water resistance is enough for daily wear.

Inside, you'll find the Mido caliber 80, based on the ETA C07.621. It offers an 80-hour power reserve and ticks at 21,600 vph. The Nivachron balance spring is a nice touch for stability, and it's adjusted to three positions for accuracy. Functions cover the basics: hours, minutes, central seconds, and day/date.

The dial is sunray-brushed green with polished indices and SuperLuminova for visibility. A stepped flange with a precise minute track frames it all. Hands are flat diamond-cut with more SuperLuminova.

It’s paired with a rose-gold PVD-treated bracelet that mixes satin-brushed and polished links. Quick-change lug bars make strap swaps easy.

Price is set at 1,030 Swiss Francs. Also available in full stainless steel if you prefer less flash.

That’s it. No frills, just function.
