Color, Contrast, and 150 Pieces of Precision
Richard Mille wraps up its RM 07-01 Colored Ceramics collection with a final trio that mixes gem-setting with technical flair. Each model is limited to 50 pieces, marking the end of a journey that started in 2021.
These watches are a nod to the boldness of the 1980s, blending vibrant colors with unexpected materials. The dials feature a mix of grey PVD-treated red gold, colored ceramics, laser-cut rubber appliqués, and diamond-set components. It’s a structured chaos that somehow works.
Underneath all this is the CRMA2 caliber. It’s an in-house automatic movement made from grade 5 titanium, offering a 50-hour power reserve. The variable-geometry rotor in gold adds some visual interest, thanks to electroplasma treatments on the baseplate and bridges.
The ceramic cases come in blush pink, lavender pink, and powder blue. TZP ceramic ensures these colors stay vibrant and resilient over time. Gem-setting on these bezels is no small feat given the material's hardness, but Richard Mille pulls it off with precision.
Each model has its own gemstone palette: diamonds with yellow and blue sapphires for Blush Pink; diamonds with pink sapphires and tsavorites for Powder Blue; and diamonds with orange sapphires and rubies for Lavender Pink.
Available in three colors, each limited to 50 pieces. You’ll know if it’s for you.
